What are Beaver Scouts?
Beaver Scouts are a program for children aged 6–8 years old that's part of The Scout Association. It's designed to help children learn new skills, make friends, and have fun
Who can join Beavers?
Anyone aged 6-8 years is welcome to join Beavers, regardless of their gender, race, background, or physical ability
What do Beavers do?
  • Play Games: Beavers play a variety of games, including sports, water activities, and more
  • Go on adventures: Beavers go camping, build dens, and have other outdoor adventures
  • Get creative: Beavers participate in crafts and other creative activities
  • Learn New Skills: Beavers learn skills like cooking, cycling, and science
  • Make friends: Beavers make new friends and learn to help others
  • Earn Badges: Beavers earn badges for completing activities
  • What is the Beaver uniform?
  • Beaver Scouts wear a blue sweatshirt with badges sewn on
  • They also wear a colored scarf or "necker" to represent their local group
  • Optional accessories include hats, hoodies, navy blue trousers, or shorts
